Coronavirus: 11 Persons Placed Isolation In Ondo

Eleven persons have been isolated by the Ondo State government for having contact with the index case of COVID-19 in the state.

Ondo Commissioner for Health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro, who disclosed this on Wednesday, said they have been placed in Isolation at Army’s Owena Barracks in Akure.

Adegbenro also said the index case, a military officer was in stable condition and responding to treatment.

Adegbenro stated that those in isolation include the patient’s wife, son and nine health officers as well as colleagues.

He added that two suspected cases of COVID-19 had been sent to Lagos for testing.
