Adeyanju tackles Atiku

Political activist and convener of the ‘Concerned Nigeria’ movement, Comrade Deji Adeyanju has declared interest in contesting the 2023 presidency in Nigeria.

He made his intention known in a statement on his Twitter account on Tuesday, adding that his campaign slogan will be ‘revolution of ideas.’

“I will be running for President in 2023. Our campaign slogan will be: REVOLUTION OF IDEAS,” he stated on Twitter.

Naija News, however, reports that he didn’t reveal the party platform on which he will be seeking the votes of Nigerians.

Few hours after initially tweeting his intention, the political activist disclosed that the tweet was a prank as he had no intention to contest the 2023 presidency.

Meanwhile, this online platform earlier reported that Adeyanju while reacting to the COVID-19 infection of Mallam Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, condemned Nigerians who were mocking Kyari for contracting the virus.

The activist noted that Kyari went to Germany in search of solutions to the Nigerian’s electricity problem.

He said, “You may not like Abba Kyari but he went to Germany to get a solution to our electricity problem.”

“If we can’t show empathy, let’s please keep quiet. You can be next. My prayers are with him & his family.”
