United States President, Donald Trump, has tested negative for the coronavirus. Naija News reports that a statement from the White House disclosed President Trump’s coronavirus test result on Saturday night (US time).

2. Trailer Crushes Three To Death In Abuja

At least three persons were crushed to death on Saturday near Wazobia motor pack along Gwagwalada/Kwali expressway in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital by a trailer conveying cows to the southern part of the country. A report monitored on The Nation newspaper by Naija News, quoted an eyewitness to have said that incident created panic and confusion as well as traffic hold up along the expressway for several hours when a part of the articulated trailer fell on some artisans working by the roadside.

3. Deposed Emir Sanusi Reveals Those Behind His Detention

The sacked Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, has accused the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, of being behind his detention. Naija News recalls that the Kano State government led by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje on Monday, March 9, dethroned Emir Sanusi.

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere a.k.a Prophet Odumeje, a controversial Anambra prophet, has denied reports in the Nigerian media that he was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS)for burying charm in the altar of his church. Naija News reports that several online news platforms (Naija News not included) had reported that Prophet Odumeje, who is fondly called “The Lion Himself”, was arrested by the police for burying unknown substance around the church, located along 88B BIDA Road in Onitsha, alleged to have been a live animal.

Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has written Kayode Fayemi, the Governor of Ekiti State, southwest Nigeria over his recent query sent to 11 monarchs in the state. Naija News recalls that Governor Fayemi had asked the traditional rulers in the query letter to give reasons for their non -cooperation with his administration.
