Buhari Meets With AFDB Boss, Adesina In Aso Rock Villa

President Muhammadu Buhari has today met Dr Akinwunmi Adeshina, the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) behind closed doors, at the President Villa, Abuja.

Naija News understands that the AfDB boss, arrived the Presidential Villa at about 11.20 a.m, and was escorted to the president’s office by presidential aides.

Earlier on 21st of December, Adesina had announced that the bank had helped to support 18 million people to have access to electricity when he attended the 56th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority Heads of State and Government.

He further noted that the bank supported another 141 million people with access to agricultural technologies for food security.

Adesina stated also that 13 million people had been provided access to finance; 101 million people with access to improved transport and 60 million people with access to improved water and sanitation.
