Governor Abdulrazaq Direct Immediate Constitution Of Minimum Wage Committee

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has directed the immediate constitution of a government panel to meet with the Labour unions in the state to discuss the national minimum wage.

The Spokesman of Governor Rafiu Ajakaye who made this known in a terse statement earlier today through a press release made available to Naija News asked the state of  Head of Service to work out the modalities of the workings of the panel.

Naija News understands the directives were given after revealed that Kwara state was among the eight state governments have yet to constitute committees on the new minimum wage negotiations, two weeks to the deadline labor gave states to conclude talks on the wage increase.
