Oyo: Ladoja, Alli, Speaks On Dumping ZLP

The former Governor of Oyo State, Rashidi Ladoja, and the governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party in the 2019 governorship election in the state, Sharafadeen Alli, have denied the report making round that they have dumped the party.

The duo on Sunday stated that there is no truth in the report that they were planning to dump ZLP for the All Progressives Congress.

The ZLP governorship candidate in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, in Ibadan the state capital, stated that the report, “that Senator Ladoja and I are leaving the ZLP for the APC was concocted to distort facts and heat up the polity.”

Recall that the former governor of Oyo state had dumped the African Democratic Congress for ZLP in November 2018.
