EPL: Monreal Set To Leave Arsenal For Real

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal is on the verge of leaving the Gunners after agreeing a deal with Real Sociedad.

The 33-year-old has spent just over six years with the Gunners but with the arrival of Kieran Tierney from Celtic, Monreal may have to settle for a place on the bench.

Naija News reports that manager Unai Emery has already confirmed that Arsenal is open to selling Mohamed Elneny and Shkodran Mustafi before the transfer window closes across Europe.

But they could also sell the Spaniard before September 2 transfer deadline.

According to Marca, Monreal will sign a two-year contract with the option of a third season with the Spanish club.

Real Sociedad are confident that the transfer will be completed next week.
