Prof. Maurice Iwu, a former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has arrived the Federal High Court in Lagos for his arraignment.

Recall Naija News reported earlier that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was planning to arraign Iwu on a four-count charge bordering on money laundering.

Naija News learnt that Iwu was allegedly involved in the N23.29 billion poll bribery scandal noticed during the previous general elections.

He will be facing trial for an alleged case of N1.2billion money laundering.
