President Buhari Meets With Yoruba Monarchs In Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, held a meeting with traditional rulers from the southern region of Nigeria headed by the Ooni of Ife. 

Naija News recalls that the 1st class traditional ruler had paid a similar courtesy visit to the President on the 18th of July, 2019 at Aso-rock on behalf of traditional rulers from the South West.

Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, while revealing his discussion with the president two weeks ago said that the security situation in the South West is getting worse day by day.

He also disclosed that the president has given directives to security agencies to collaborate with locals in the region towards flushing out bad eggs and threats to peace in the region.

Meanwhile, Naija News understands that Wednesday’s meeting started around 12.30 pm at the President’s office in Abuja.
