Oyetola Defeats Adeleke In Appeal Court Ruling

The Court of Appeal has delivered judgement in favour of Gboyega Oyetola in the matter concerning the outcome of the 2018 Osun State Governorship election.

Naija News reports that Justice Hannatu Sankey, while delivering the lead judgement on Thursday, set aside the entire proceedings of the Tribunal which gave victory to Sen. Adeleke because of its “faulty composition”.

Four out of the five justices who make up the appeal court panel upheld the victory of Oyetola at the polls.

Recall the Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal had earlier nullified the victory of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and declared Senator Ademola Adeleke winner.
