Naija News reports that an official of the Board revealed that the 2019 UTME results will be out on Friday.

On when the examination results would be released, the source said that should happen on Friday.

JAMB To Cancel Half Of 2019 UTME Results, See Why

Barring any last minute change, half of the results of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), may be cancelled in some states of the federation.

Naija News reports that an official of the Board, who requested anonymity during an interview with PREMIUM TIMES, to be able to discuss JAMB’s delay in releasing results, said the results may be cancelled due to the massive malpractice recorded during the last UTME.

Expressing disgust at the massive malpractice recorded during the UTME which held between April 11 and 18, the official said while all parts of the country took part in cheating, the situation was worse in some states.

The official lamented that the “fearless display of fraudulent tactics by some individuals including parents and centre owners,” would leave many people dumbfounded.

2019 UTME: JAMB Speaks On Results Delay

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says its server did not crash and results of candidates who participated in its 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are intact.

The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, gave the assurance in an interview with NAN on Wednesday in Lagos.

Benjamin reacted to speculations in some quarters that the board issued a press statement, explaining that the release of the UTME results was being delayed because its server crashed and that candidates should prepare for another examination.
