Madman Disrupts Election In Umuahia, Abia State (Picture)

There was panic on Saturday at ward 1, Urban unit 1 located at Methodist church Umuahia, Abia state as a middle aged man suspected to be mentally unstable disrupted the governorship and house of assembly elections in the state.

The unidentified man reportedly came to unit and started behaving strangely.

It was later discovered that he was in possession of substance suspected to be Indian hemp, Naija News gathered.

When security agents accosted him, he was said to have fled the scene but a ballot box was said to have been damaged in the process.

The unit Urban 1 consists of five polling units made up of 029, 030, 032, 002 and 001.
