2019: Saraki Reacts As INEC Extends Deadline For Collection Of PVCs

Ahead of the forthcoming general election, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reacted to the extension of the deadline for the collection of Permanent Voters Card, by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

INEC in a statement through its official Twitter page said, “The Collection of PVCs scheduled to end today Friday 8th February 2019 is hereby extended Nationwide to Monday 11th February 2019. This will include Saturday and Sunday.”

Saraki while reacting on Twitter stated that the extension of the deadline will enable more young Nigerians to participate in the general election.

“INEC has just announced that it will be extending the collection of #PVCs to Monday, February 11th. This is a great development.

“Now, more young Nigerians will be able to participate in the 2019 General Elections.

“With your #PVC, you can vote for a government that will get our economy working again, solve the insecurity issues in your community, and create more opportunities for you and your loved ones,” he wrote.
