JAMB 2019 Registration Guidelines

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has commenced the registration for the 2019 UTME exams, today Thursday, January 10 2019.

As earlier published by Naija News, the registration exercise would last for 6 weeks, counting from today as revealed by the board.

Naija News also compiled a guide on the 2019 subject combinations to assist candidates make the right decisions and secure admission for study in any higher institution of choice.

JAMB has also confirmed that it would not allow the use of cyber cafes for the registration of candidates in the forth coming 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

All prospective candidates are therefore, expected to do their registration and access the board’s major services, in any of its accredited centers/offices across the country.

Below are some important information to aid prospective candidates in their registration as released by the board.

1. JAMB to start the sale of 2019 UTME forms on 10th January.

2. 2019 JAMB Mock Examination proposed date will soon be announced.

3. 2019 JAMB UTME Form proposed closing date: 6 Weeks from the day registration commenced.

4. JAMB have banned the use of wristwatches & pens by candidates and other persons in the exam hall.

5. The price of the 2019 UTME registration form will cost a total of ₦4,700 as broken down below:

a. Cost of registration pin: ₦3,500

b. Compulsory reading text: N500

c. Service charge for registration: N700

Total: ₦4,700.

6. The actual JAMB UTME CBT Examination will commence in March.

7. It is highly recommended for candidates to get the 2019 JAMB brochure and JAMB syllabus.
