Three suspects declared wanted in connection with the disappearance of Gen. Mohammed Idris Alkali (retd), have on Friday, voluntarily surrendered themselves to the police.
This comes about 24 hours after they were declared wanted.
A source who said the suspects handed themselves over to the Plateau state police command also disclosed that other suspects were waiting to see how the persons who already surrendered would be treated before also turning themselves in.
“The three suspects voluntarily surrendered themselves to the police. If the police detain them, it will be difficult to get the others. But if they are granted bail, be assured that they will all appear before the police by next week,” the source stated.
