Atiku Reacts To Buhari’s Decision To Sponsor Medical Bill Of Visually Challenged Corp Member
Condemns Buhari For Spending Much On Medical Bills In London
Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for paying the medical bills of a physically challenged National Youth Service Corp member in Daura.
Atiku, however in a tweet on Thursday condemned the gesture that the decision is coming five months to the 2019 general election.
He also explained that “if he (Buhari) had invested the public funds he spends on his London medicals on public healthcare, he wouldn’t need to do this“.
President Buhari had on Tuesday promised to sponsor the medical treatment of a 28 year old serving member of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Okenala Ahmed who is visually-impaired.
Ahmed is a graduate of Insurance from the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State and is currently doing his service year in Daura, Katsina State.

I commend @NGRPresident @MBuhari for paying medical bills of a blind corps member 5 months to the 2019 election, but I remind him that if he had invested the public funds he spends on his London medicals on public healthcare, he wouldn’t need to do this.https://t.co/eKmy0KoERm
