Lawmakers Celebrate Three Years Of Legislative Activities For The 8th Senate

The Nigerian Senate under the leadership of Dr. Bukola Saraki, has released list of achievements by the lawmakers under the eighth national assembly.

As part of achievements listed, as made available to Naija News, the 8th Senate has passed 229 Bills and 155 petitions; exposed high levels of corruption in government, and worked to create more opportunities for all Nigerians through its legislative interventions.

In the last three years, the 8th Senate claims to have robustly carried out its constitutional duty of making legislation, conducting oversight and being responsive to the needs of the nation.
