Buhari Was Fully Aware Of The Decision To Sack Daura – Adesina

Special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, has said Muhammadu Buhari agreed to the sack of Lawal Daura, director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo fired Daura on Wednesday after the DSS invaded the national assembly.

Saraki Holds Close-door Meeting with IBB in Minna

Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki held a meeting with former military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Naija News understands.

The meeting is coming 24 hours after the  unwarranted Siege of the National Assembly Tuesday by operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS).

Saraki Must Resign As Senate President, APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again called on Dr Bukola Sarakito resign his position as the President of the Senate.

In a statement by the party earlier today by the Acting National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, the APC claimed that the Senate President lacked the moral ground to retain the position after defecting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Sacked DSS DG, Lawal Daura, Placed Under House Arrest

The recently sacked Director General of the Department of State Services, DSS, Lawal Daura has been placed under house arrest Vanguard reports.

The news platform a ‎source in the presidency revealed that after Daura was sacked by the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday, he (Daura) was arrested right inside the presidential Villa, by men of the Nigerian Police Force.

Osun 2018: Suit Of Certificate Forgery Against Adeleke, Dismissed

The Osun State High Court, today dismissed the suit against state governorship aspirant on the paltform of the PDP, Ademola Adeleke saying it can’t stop him from contesting.

Presiding over the case, the Judge, David Oladimeji said though the “document” submitted by Senator Ademola Adeleke has “some serious and damaging irregularities,” the court can’t stop him from contesting the Osun State governorship election as plaintiffs failed to prove the forgery allegation preferred against him.
