Three Suspected Cultists Killed After Cult Group Clash

Clash between cult groups have left three suspected members dead at Somolu, Lagos Mainland, Naija News understands.

Those killed include leader of Eiye cult group in the area, Tunde Awokoya, 36, alias Chop-Up, one Gabriel and another unnamed man.

It was gathered that members of the Eiye and Aye cult groups had spoiled for war earlier on Tuesday but were dispersed by policemen, who got information about it.

However it was gathered, , the Aye group targeted Chop-Up, who had gone to a beer-parlour on Abiodun Street to cool off and murdered him there.

The Nation reports that some of his members, who were with him, went on rampage, snuffing life out of Gabriel, who was at a barber’s shop.

As of 12am, the bodies of the deceased were said to be lying on the street.
