APC Storms Ekiti State For Fayemi’s Governorship Campaign

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, is expected to lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign team to Ekiti state on Tuesday to flag off the governorship campaign of Dr Kayode Fayemi, for the July 14 gubernatorial election in the state.

Other party leaders expected include the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, and the Chairman of the National Campaign Committee for Ekiti Election, Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, as well as members of his committee.

Meanwhile, the Fayemi campaign organization also warned incumbent Governor Ayo Fayose against any act that could cause violence before, during and after the governorship elections in the state.

They accused Fayose and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state of plans to instigate some segments of workers against Fayemi in a campaign of calumny, including mobilising thugs to cause violence in the state.
