The EFCC arrainged them on a 19-count charge, owing to breach of trust, and money laundering which amounted to N13.5billion
However, EFCC counsel, Mr Rotimi Jacobs (SAN) at the plenary today, said the charges had been amended from 19 to 32.
He said that the amendment didn’t apply to the second defendant, Shuaibu Salisu, and prayed the court to set a date of re-arraignment and accept the amendment.
Responding, Dasuki’s counsel, Mr Ahmed Raji (SAN ), informed the court that they were served on April 30, and it was only on May 1, that it was brought to his notice.
“I have no privilege of discussing with the first defendant and the counts are almost doubled, consequently we will be asking for an adjournment.’’Copyright Naija News 2018. All rights reserved.
