The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that a J5 Bus was also burnt in the fire at the station located opposite the Airforce Girls Comprehensive Secondary school.

Eye witness confirmed that the fire started when a J5 vehicle caused a spark while leaving the filling station.

The Eye witness said that onlookers were unable to put out the fire because it was overwhelming. The eye witness added that none of the five fire extinguishers visible at the station was functional.

However, men of the state’s Fire Service arrived the scene after 20 minutes to bring the situation under control.
