Motorists and other road users in the nation’s capital city of Abuja have been forced to scamper for safety as pro-Zakzaky protesters and police clash.

Only 8,000 out of 32,000 applicants will gain admissiion in UNILAG – VC

The outgoing Vice-Chancellor of University of Lagos (UNILAG), Prof. Rahamon Bello, has revealed that 8,000 out of 32,000 applicants will gain admission into the institution for the 2017/2018 academic session.

He said that although the 32,000 applicants scored above 200 marks in the Unified Tertiary matriculation examination (UTME), the institution would not admit more than 8,000.

Ugochinyere in a one page letter to the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, said that his resignation was to enable him serve as the national chairman of his newly formed political party.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has stated that its intervention programmes have created over seven million jobs across the country.

Anambra Election: APC dismisses speculations to rig election

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has debunked reports that it was planning to rig the upcoming November 18, Anambra gubernatorial election.

The National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Bolaji Abdullahi, who said this on Thursday at a media conference held at the APC national Secretariat in Abuja, stated that although the party will leave no stone unturned in winning the election, it is not in its bid to alter the election.
