-A former secretary to Plateau State government, Moses Gwom was attacked in his residence at Barkin Ladin.

The Plateau State Police Command on Wednesday said gunmen killed a former Secretary to the Plateau State Government, Moses Gwom and injured 12 others.

Naija News gathered that Gwom was attacked and killed at his residence in Barkin Ladin at about 9 pm on Tuesday.

The spokesperson for the command, Terna Tyopev, disclosed this to Premium Times on Wednesday.

“Unknown gunmen attacked and killed one Moses Gwom, at his residence in Barkin ladi. His house is located opposite STF checkpoint, 12 others were injured during the attack,” he said.

Residents of the area said the gunmen also attacked security operatives at the checkpoint before storming the residence of the deceased.

Tyopev said no one has been arrested, but the suspects would be apprehended as security operatives are on their trail.
