President Muhammad Buhari has joined other Muslim faithfuls to observe the Eid- el-Kabir sallah prayer in his hometown, Daura amid tight and heavy security presence.
Buhari arrived the Eid ground at about 9:45 am and after which the prayer led by the Chief Imam, Central Mosque, Imam Salisu Rabiu immediately commenced and lasted for two minutes.
The two rakat eid prayer held at the Kofar Arewa and Sarki’s eid ground.

A combined team of security agents which include men of the Nigerian army, police, mobile police, Nigerian Security and civil defence corps and Department of State security were on ground to provide adequate security for worshippers.
Muslim faithfuls who came in their numbers to observe the prayers were subjected to thorough security checks and screening before been granted access.
The President after the two rakat prayer, acknowledged waves from the mammoth crowd before he departed the eid ground.
The President was in company of the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq.
