Just In: Senate set to screen two ministerial nominees

The Nigerian Senate is set to screen two ministerial nominees today as listed on order paper: Stephen Ocheni (Kogi) and Suleiman Hassan (Gombe).

This ministerial nominees are expected to replace their counterpart who are no more in active service.

Stephen Ocheni from kogi is expected to be the replacement for Nigeria’s former labour minister, James Ocholi who died in a car accident in March, 2016.

While, Suleiman Hassan from Gombe would replace former Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed left President Muhammadu led administration to serve as Deputy Secretary-General of United Nations
