Mercy Johnson sworn in as special assistant to Kogi governor

Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie has been sworn in by Governor Yahaya Bello, on Monday, April 3 of Kogi state as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on entertainment, arts and culture.

Governor Bello during the inauguration of the 54 senior and special assistants, warned the appointees not to see their appointments as an opportunity to enrich themselves.

He said his administration was determined to go after those who stole from the nation’s treasury in past years and recover such loot. “We must go after them to recover the looted fund for use of the common people in the state,” Bello stated.
