Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye of Psquare, has blasted the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors for complaining over the Naira swap policy which has brought untold hardships on Nigerians.

Naija News reports that some APC governors including the presidential candidate of the party, Senator Bola Tinubu have shown displeasure over the policy.

In a meeting called by the leader of the party’s National Working Committee leader, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Tinubu alongside some APC governors had urged Buhari and the CBN to acknowledge the Supreme Court order which suspended the ban on old naira notes.

Speaking on the aggrieved governors plea, Peter wondered the reason they were complaining about the policy.

Peter, in a series of Instagram post, claimed that Nigerians are not complaining over the policy.

According to him, the citizenry are already used to the hardship brought by the APC Goverment.

The singer insisted that Nigerians are on the side of Buhari and the CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele.

Peter questioned the reason the governors were desperate over the naira redesigned policy, wondering if the hardship on Nigerians began after its introduction.

Reminding the governors that their party has placed over 300m Nigerians in multidimensional poverty, Okoye maintained that Nigerias were aware of the reason for their desperation and pseudo-concern for the suffering of the masses.
