Shocking Ronaldo replacement move by Man United involves signing Mbappe

Manchester United are considering a move for French forward, Kylian Mbappe as a possible replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo Replacement.

Recall that transfer rumours has been linked with the Paris Saint-Germain forward as a potential replacement for Ronaldo who recently left the club.

The Red Devils have been connected with a new striker for some time, but with Ronaldo’s departure—which followed an explosive chat with Piers Morgan—it seems that their hunt has become more urgent.

Naija News recalls that the Five-time Ballon d’Or winner publicly criticized his boyhood club, Erik ten Hag, and the Glazers in a controversial interview with the Veteran broadcast journalist, Morgan.

Following this, the striker’s situation at Old Trafford became unsustainable, which has left the club no other choice than to tear up his contract.

Ronaldo’s contract being terminated has slashed United’s pay expenditure significantly, enabling them to search European football’s elite for a replacement.

The France and PSG star Mbappe is wanted by United, according to claims in the Mirror. The striker is expected to cost United about “£150 million” and earn a comparable salary to Cristiano Ronaldo of about “£500,000” per week.

Additionally, they claim that Nigeria and Napoli forward,  Victor Osimhen  is being looked at as a backup striker who may be available in January.

Mbappe’s arrival in January would be a tremendous coup for Erik ten Hag and may have a significant impact on the Premier League.
