Nigeria vs Sierra Leone: “I Am Happy We Won” – Jose Peseiro

Super Eagles manager, Josep Peseiro has expressed satisfaction after the Super Eagles recorded a slim win against Sierra Leone.

Speaking at the post match press conference, he explained that the team is a work in progress.

He said, “I’m very happy because we won and our team were better“.

Nigeria started the match slowly, conceding the first goal and he explained that the short time with the team caused that. “We had just 4 practices and we will still improve.”

He concluded that despite the Super Eagles performance, Nigeria deserved to win the game.

Nigeria will face Sao Tome in Morocco on Monday, June 13th.
