Reekado Banks Sorting Ways Out Of Invitation Trouble

Reekado Banks was reported last week to have been invited by a couple to sing in their wedding ceremony which Reekado Banks and his manager was reported to not have showed up for.

The family of the couple was revealed to have reported the case to a near bye police station demanding for full refund of their money. Reekado Banks and his manager was said to have been given an ultimatum by the Police to refund a couple they refused to show up at their wedding, Temi who is the brother and manager of Reekado Banks has been said to be detained in Prison on same case.

Reekado Banks and his brother, Temi, who also is Reekado’s manager were invited to the Ogba Area G police station, regarding a case of obtaining the sum of N2m as the fee for a performance at a wedding in Benin City on the 23rd of December, 2017 but failed to show up.

The latest update on the case now according to the camp of Uwa Igbinedion who took the matter to the police is that Reekado Banks and his team did not meet up with the Police deadline with the excuse that they incurred “logistical costs” – despite not honoring the deal.

After Reekado Banks decided not to honour the invitations by the police, his brother/Manager, Temi, was yesterday arraigned before a court in Ikeja after which he was remanded to the Kirikiri Maximum Prison, even as the singer is still at large.The case has been adjourned until the 19th of February 2018.‎

Before the matter was taken to court, Reekado Banks manager, Temi, was contacted on phone to confirm if the allegation was true, he replied harshly on the issue, in a stern voice saying:

‘All the allegations are not true, I will rather let the matter remain as it is. When the right time comes, we will let the public know what transpired between both parties’.
