Tinubu: Fani-Kayode Takes Personal Decision On APC's Muslim-Muslim Ticket Bid

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of seeking a barbaric civil war in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that Chief Ayo Adebanjo, a chieftain of Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, had stated that Buhari was trying to drag Nigeria into war.

According to Adebanjo, Buhari wants to keep ruling Nigeria by force, hence, his alleged opposition to Amotekun.

This Adebanjo said when he featured on Arise Television’s Morning Show while emphasising that the solution to the security challenge in the country was state police.

He explained that Buhari was leading Nigeria into war through his dictatorial tendencies and refusal to restructure Nigeria.

Reacting to Adebanjo’s comment, Fani-Kayode warned that if caution is thrown away, a “tiny spark” may lead to the most savage civil war ever.

He wrote: “Buhari is silently leading Nigeria into war – Baba Ayo Adebanjo.

“War is evil but Buhari is begging for it. If care is not taken, a tiny and seemingly inconsequential spark may ignite the greatest conflagration and most barbaric and savage civil war that Africa has ever seen.”
