Funke Olakunrin: Family Announces Plans For Pa Fasoranti’s Daughter’s Burial

Late Olakunrin To Be Buried On Monday

The family members of Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, have announced burial plans for their murdered daughter.

According to information made available to newsmen in Akure on Wednesday, the Late Mrs. Olakunrin will be buried on Monday, July 22, 2019.

Preceding the burial will be a commendation/night of tributes which will take place tomorrow, Friday, July 19.

Naija News recalls Olakunrin was killed by gunmen along Benin/Ore/Sagamu expressway last Friday.

The burial ceremony will take place at the Saito David’s Anglican Cathedral Ijomu, Akure, by 11am, while interment follows at the church cemetery.

According to the funeral arrangements, the commendation/night of tributes will take place by 5pm at Harbour Point Wilmot road, Ahmadu Bello way, Victoria lsland, Lagos.

Meanwhile, the Ondo State Police Command has stated that operatives are still searching the forest to apprehend killers of Mrs Funke Olakunrin.

Police spokesman for the command, Femi Joseph, a Superintendent of Police(SP) hinted that some arrests had already been made, but kept their identities under wrap.
