No Candidate Is Worth My Vote In 2027 – Skales

Nigerian singer Skales has expressed strong disappointment in the country’s political system, stating that he does not plan to vote in the 2027 elections because he does not trust any of the current politicians.

Naija News reports that he made the statement on 𝕏, where he shared his frustration with what he described as a lack of credible candidates capable of moving Nigeria forward.

According to him, none of the politicians on the scene have earned his confidence or shown genuine commitment to improving the country.

Skales said he has not seen any aspirant he considers worthy of his vote, adding that he no longer believes in or trusts the current set of political leaders.

He also argued that Nigeria needs a new generation of leaders made up of younger people with fresh ideas, vision, and innovation, rather than what he described as recycled politicians who have held office repeatedly without delivering meaningful progress.

He wrote: “To be honest none I won’t be voting anyone in 2027!!!don’t see any good candidate that can take this country to a better place. I ain’t seen no candidate worth my vote ?I do not believe or trust anyone of this politicians …

“so I ain’t voting none cos none has proving to me that they really mean well for this country we need a fresh set of politicians, visionaries not recycled ones that have shown time after time that they ain’t got this figured out. same recycled politicians that have proven time after time that they do not know what they are doing?we need younger politicians with vision .”, innovation , etc not all this we have now.”
