Recall that the ADC had on Tuesday announced the suspension of the collation of results from its presidential primary elections held nationwide on Monday.
Naija News reports that the collation was suspended around 11:50 p.m after results from 25 states had been announced.
The party said the collation of results and declaration of the eventual winner would resume on Wednesday (today).
The collation exercise, held at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, is expected to continue by 8 p.m. today.
The Chairman of the Presidential Primary Election Committee, Chief Ikechi Emenike, who announced the postponement, said the decision was to allow party members who are Muslims to celebrate Eid al-Kabir.
He also explained that some returning officers had flight challenges getting to Abuja.
