2026 FIFA World Cup Play-offs Final Fixtures For European Teams, Intercontinental Confirmed

Twelve teams have secured their places in the final play-off for the 2026 FIFA World Cup which is scheduled to kick off in the United States, Mexico and Canada, from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

The semi-finals of the World Cup play-off for European teams saw Italy secure a 2-0 win over Northern Ireland, while Türkiye beat Romania 1-0 and Denmark thrashed North Macedonia 4-0.

Poland came from behind to defeat Albania 2-1, Kosovo beat Slovakia 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller, and Viktor Gyökeres struck a hat-trick as Sweden beat Ukraine 3-1.

Wales drew 1-1 with Bosnia-Herzegovina before losing 4-2 on penalties, and Czechia progressed after a 2-2 draw with the Republic of Ireland, winning the shootout 4-3.

The results set up a decisive round of play-off finals on Tuesday, March 31. Bosnia will face Italy, Sweden meet Poland, Kosovo take on Türkiye, and Czechia clash with Denmark.

Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Italy. Venue: Zenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina. Winner joins Group B alongside Canada, Switzerland and Qatar.

Path B Final Fixture:

Sweden vs Poland. Venue: Sweden (home advantage for Sweden). Winner joins Group F alongside Japan, the Netherlands and Tunisia.

Path C Final Fixture

Kosovo vs Türkiye. Venue: Pristina (Kosovo). Winner joins Group C alongside the USA, Paraguay and Australia.

Path D Final Fixture

Czechia vs Denmark. Venue: Prague (Czechia). Winner joins Group D alongside Australia, Paraguay and the USA.

Intercontinental Play-off

Pathway 1 final fixture:

Jamaica vs DR Congo (final on March 31).

Pathway 2 Final fixture:

Bolivia vs Iraq (final on March 31)
