Transfer Updates: Strand Larsen, Chiesa, Lewandowski, Upamecano, Endrick, Others

Newcastle United could face competition from Tottenham Hotspur if they renew their transfer interest in Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

ChronicleLive reports both Premier League sides are monitoring the 25-year-old Norway international ahead of a potential January transfer move.

Tottenham are also assessing the forward market more closely after it emerged that the injury sustained by Ghana international Mohammed Kudus is more serious than first feared, according to the Telegraph. Spurs are expected to explore attacking reinforcements this month.

In Italy, Roma sporting director Ricky Massara has played down speculation linking the club with Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee. Speaking via Sky Sports Italia, Massara said the situation has shifted following the departure of head coach Ruben Amorim from Old Trafford.

Juventus’ hopes of bringing Italy winger Federico Chiesa back to Serie A from Liverpool could hinge on developments elsewhere at Anfield. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that any transfer move depends on whether Mohamed Salah commits his future to the Reds.

Napoli are also admirers of Chiesa, but Sky Sports News reports Liverpool have not received any formal approaches and are unlikely to sanction the 28-year-old’s departure during the January window.

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is expected to stay put despite transfer interest from several clubs. Sky Sports Germany reports the Poland international has no intention of leaving Camp Nou in January.

At Bayern Munich, talks are ongoing with Dayot Upamecano over a new contract. Sky Sports Germany says the Bundesliga champions have offered the France defender an improved extension and would like clarity sooner rather than later, even though the 27-year-old remains relaxed about his future.

AC Milan are tracking Bayern defender Kim Min-jae, but La Gazzetta dello Sport notes any deal would require the German club to subsidise part of the South Korea international’s wages.

Real Madrid youngster Endrick, currently on loan at Lyon, has revealed that Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti advised him to seek regular football away from the Bernabeu. The 19-year-old striker made the comments in an interview with Goal.

Former West Ham forward Michail Antonio has seen a potential move to Leicester City collapse after suffering a muscle injury. Talksport reports the Jamaican international, who has not played since a car accident in December 2024, had been in talks over a short-term contract.

Tottenham forward Yang Min-hyeok is set for a Championship loan spell. Fabrizio Romano reports the 19-year-old South Korea international is close to joining Coventry City until the end of the season.
