1. Trump’s Military Strike Threat: FG Sends Message To Nigerians
The Federal Government has sent a message to Nigerians over the military strike threat by the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Naija News reports that Trump had vowed to carry out a military strike in Nigeria over alleged Christian genocide.
The American President warned the Nigerian government to address the situation or face dire consequences.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has, however, urged the citizenry to remain calm in the face of the ongoing diplomatic spat.
He made the appeal in Dutse, Jigawa State, during a courtesy visit to the Governor of Jigawa, His Excellency Malam Umar A. Namadi.
2. EFCC Declares Timipre Sylva Wanted
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared former Bayelsa State Governor, Timipre Sylva, wanted.
According to a statement on Monday by the EFCC, the former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources was declared wanted in connection with an alleged case of conspiracy and dishonest conversion of $14,859,257.
Naija News understands the said amount is part of funds injected by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) into Atlantic International Refinery and Petrochemical Limited for the construction of a Refinery.
The 61-year-old former Governor is from Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The EFCC in the statement signed by its spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, urged anybody with useful information to contact any of its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, lorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, Abuja, or the nearest police station.
3. NAF Bombs Several ISWAP Terrorists, Bandits To Death
Air strikes carried out by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have resulted in the killing of several terrorists and bandits across the country and the destruction of their hideouts.
According to a statement on Monday by the NAF Spokesman, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, scores of Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Mallam Fatori and Shuwaram, Borno State, as well as bandits’ enclaves in Garin Dandi and Chigogo, Kwara State, as well as Zango Hill in Kankara local government area of Katsina State, were affected by the strikes.
He added that the coordinated missions were carried out on November 9, 2025, based on credible intelligence on the movement and activities of the criminals.
Ejodame said the missions represent a decisive phase in ongoing joint operations under Operation Hadin Kai and Operation Fansan Yamma, aimed at degrading terrorists and criminal networks across Nigeria’s northern theatres.
Naija News reports that the NAF airstrikes dealt a heavy blow to ISWAP terrorists entrenched in the Northern Tumbuns of Borno State.
According to the NAF spokesman, the Air Component guided by real-time Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) feeds conducted precision strikes southeast of Shuwaram before shifting to Mallam Fatori, where ISWAP elements were observed mobilising with motorcycles and boats along the Lake Chad Basin.
According to him, the strikes destroyed the insurgent hideouts, logistics hubs, and weapons storage facilities, eliminating several terrorists and crippling their mobility capabilities.
4. Lagos To File Contempt Charge Against National Assembly For Defying Supreme Court Ruling
Lagos State Government has approached Nigeria’s apex court, the Supreme Court, seeking leave to commence contempt proceedings against the National Assembly.
Naija News reports that Lagos accused the legislature of continued move to pass the Central Gaming Bill, despite a subsisting judgment of the apex court declaring such legislation unconstitutional.
In a motion filed on behalf of the Attorney-General of Lagos State by Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Bode Olanipekun, the state is seeking the Supreme Court’s leave to initiate judgment enforcement proceedings through the issuance of Form 48a legal step that precedes the commencement of committal or contempt proceedings.
Under Nigerian law, the issuance of Form 48 serves as a formal warning to any person or body in contempt of court, and failure to purge the contempt after its issuance may result in committal to prison.
According to the affidavit filed in support of the motion, Lagos State contended that the National Assembly’s ongoing work on the Central Gaming Bill directly contravenes the Supreme Court’s judgment in SC.1/2008 – Attorney-General of Lagos State & Ors. v. Attorney-General of the Federation & Ors., delivered on November 22, 2024.
5. Nnamdi Kanu Submits Fresh Request To Supreme Court On His Trial
The detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has urged the Supreme Court to review its earlier judgement in the case between him and the federal government of Nigeria.
Naija News understands Kanu, in a fresh motion filed before the Apex Court, asked the court to review its judgment delivered in the suit between him and the federal government marked (SC/CR/1361/2022) which ordered his retrial.
Kanu asked the court to extend the time within which he may seek leave to apply for an order reviewing the judgment of the Supreme Court delivered on the 18th December 2023.
In his argument, the detained IPOB leader submitted that he just had full access to his complete case file on October 26, 2025, for the first time since his incarceration after taking the decision to represent himself and needs time to review the details.
6. “Arrest Sowore Anywhere You See Him” – Lagos CP Issues Fresh Order To Police Officers
The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Olohundare Jimoh, has stated that former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, remains a wanted person.
Jimoh made the declaration on Monday during a strategic security meeting at the command headquarters in Ikeja, Naija News reports.
The Police Chief reiterated that Sowore is wanted over an alleged intention to incite violent protests in Lagos during a recent protest.
He insisted that the Police had extended an invitation to the publisher and political activist, but he has so far failed to show up.
The Commissioner, therefore, ordered Police officers to arrest Sowore wherever he is found and bring him to the State Criminal Investigation Department for proper investigation.
He added that despite an earlier letter from Sowore’s lawyer expressing his intention to bring Sowore to the command, none of them had shown up.
Jimoh added that Sowore was declared wanted in accordance with Section 215 (1, 4, and 5) of the Nigerian Constitution, which empowered the Commissioner of Police to maintain law and order and protect lives and property.

Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has stated that the ‘African Queen’ song turned out to be a problem for him despite the spark it gave to his career.

Samuel Ojeogwu, popularly known as Sammy West and brother to Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has been granted bail in the sum of ₦5 million.
Sammy was reportedly granted bail on Monday, November 10, 2025, after spending several days in detention.
Naija News gathered that he was initially remanded at the Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court on Thursday before being transferred to Suleja Prison.
His elder brother, @Sweezzy1, announced the development in an Instagram story post, writing, “Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”
9. Super Eagles Respond To Hotel Criticism As 14 Players Arrive In Morocco Ahead Of Gabon Tie
The Super Eagles have addressed social media criticism over their hotel in Morocco, explaining that the choice was based on convenience and team preparation ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup African play-off against Gabon.
Naija News reports that a video shared by midfielder Alex Iwobi showing the view from his hotel room sparked comments online questioning the standard of the accommodation.
“The Super Eagles are camped at the Rive Hotel.
