The three ministers recently confirmed by the Senate have arrived at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa for their swearing-in.

The new appointees are Balarabe Abbas Lawal (Kaduna), Jamila Bio Ibrahim (Kwara) as the Minister of Youths and Ayodele Olawande (Ondo) as the Minister of State for Youths.

The ministers would be sworn in by President Bola Tinubu at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting currently holding inside the State House.

Present at the FEC meeting are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Yemi Esan; the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, ministers; and some other executive principal officers.

Vice President Kashim Shettima will, however, not be sitting in today’s meeting, having left Abuja for China on Sunday to represent the president at the 3rd Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
