President Tinubu Receives Three Ambassadors-Designate In Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, received Letters of Credence from three Ambassadors-Designate.

Naija News reports that the Ambassadors-Designate are of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Cuba and, the United Arab Emirates.

The President hosted the Ambassadors-Designate inside the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja following their posting to the country.

In his chat with the Ambassador-Designate while receiving his Letter of Credence, President Tinubu directed the immediate resolution of disagreements with the UAE on Emirate airlines and visa issuance.

The President emphasized that he stands prepared to “personally’’ intervene in the diplomatic situation in UAE.

President Tinubu’s Govt Allegedly Withdraws Accreditations Of 25 Journalists Covering Presidential Villa

Reports have emerged claiming that the accreditations of 25 journalists covering the Presidential Villa were withdrawn on Friday, August 18, at the Villa’s main gate.

Naija News gathered that President Bola Tinubu had allegedly ordered security to withdraw the accreditations from the journalists from various platforms.

According to SaharaReporters, security operatives positioned at the main gate of the Presidential Villa on Friday, August 18, told the affected journalists to submit their accreditation tags without explanations.

The report revealed that affected journalists cut across reporters, cameramen, and photojournalists from broadcast, print, and online media organizations such as PromptNews, ONTV, ITV Abuja, Liberty, Vanguard, Galaxy TV, Ben TV, MITV and many others.

The affected journalists have allegedly been told to source for video clips and other news materials from their colleagues.
