Strong And Timely: Bashir Ahmad Reacts As Kano Governor Sacks Commissioner Who Threatened Tribunal Judges

Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has condemned the Algeria Government over the alleged plan to supply free electricity to the Niger Republic.

Recall that an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Adamu Garba, claimed that Algeria had decided to supply free electricity to the neighbouring country.

Garba made this known in a Twitter post on Friday, weeks after the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) had cut off the power supply to the embattled country.

The AP chieftain stated that Niger will now receive electricity supply from Algeria.

Reacting to the development in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday, Ahmad said the North African country is sabotaging the efforts of ECOWAS to restore democratic rule in Niger.

He wrote: “They are sabotaging ECOWAS’ efforts.”
