An unidentified Nollywood practitioner, has disclosed how his colleagues forced him to quit acting in a viral video online.

Naija News reports that the Igbo thespian in an interview with @skibocomedy7, recounts the little amount of money he receives for acting in movies.

According to him, some of his colleagues engage in fraudulent practices where they offer a job worth ten thousand Naira but pay one thousand Naira upon completion of the job, with the assurance that the remaining sum would be transferred to his account, sadly the balance of the payment is not made.

He stressed that the consistent situation forced him to quit acting as some producers and actors are often less concerned about the well-being of other movie stars who are sick or hungry.

The Nollywood actor also accused his colleagues of making millions from jobs that are uploaded on Youtube channels and still will not pay him for feeding, especially in movies he featured.

He added that he borrows money for feeding as well as going for acting jobs.

He said in Igbo, “You will be called for a job of N10k, but when you are done you will be given N1k and told that the remaining will be paid into your account but you will see nothing. That was why I gave up on doing such jobs,”

“You will do a standard job that will be uploaded on YouTube for someone, this person will still get millions when the job is uploaded on YouTube, but he will not even pay for your feeding. I will still buy food with the money I borrowed to go for the job”
