BBNaija Winner, Whitemoney To Start Reality TV Show

Winner of the Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ Housemate, Hazel Oyeze Onoduenyi, popularly known as Whitemoney has revealed that he did not venture into cooking after the reality show because no brand approached him for a deal.

The reality TV star who was famous for cooking meals during the show made this known during the latest episode of ‘The House Chronicles’ podcast, where he said that singing was his forte before he got into the show.

Whitemoney said: “I was already into music before (going on the Big Brother Naija reality show). It is just that I was doing more of highlife. Back in the day, I had a band and everything, and there was no media to really show us out, but I did my thing low-key. I have been in music for long. I got my scholarship as a drummer to go to school.

“When I came out (of Big Brother Naija show), the opportunities that presented themselves were not cooking opportunities. In fact, no cooking brand came to me. For those who are saying, ‘When this one start singing?’ I think they forgot that 99 per cent of the music composed in Big Brother house was done by me,” he added.

In October 2022, Banky W denied signing Whitemoney to his record label, Empire Mates Entertainment.
