'The Church Can Not Be His Structure' - Bwala Tells Peter Obi What He Must Do To Ensure Survival Of Labour Party

Daniel Bwala, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the increase in the pump prices of Petrol, known as Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), from 537 to 617 naira per litre.

Naija News earlier reported that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has further increased pump prices of Petrol across the country.

NNPC filling stations in Abuja witnessed brief queues, particularly the one located along Murtala Mohammed Express road in Kado remained shut for a few hours as the Petrol attendants adjusted their fuel pumps to reflect the new price of 617 naira.

Since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government lifted the fuel subsidy in June, fuel prices have skyrocketed from N190/per litre to over N500/per litre.

Reacting to the development in a Twitter post on Tuesday, Bwala lamented the hike in the price of fuel across the country, adding that the price of the dollar has also risen.

The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also mocked President Bola Tinubu over his promise to renew the hope of Nigerians in his manifesto.

He wrote: “Chai, the price of fuel e dan climb ohh. Walahi tallahi, e Dey hot for pocket. Dollar sep i don climb to 815 naira. Our hop i Dey renew? Lollllll”
