Peter Obi Attends Thanksgiving Service For Late Subomi Balogun

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party  (LP), Peter Obi, has described Late Olasubomi Balogun as a man whose legacies will always be remembered and his footprints in the nation will remain visible for generations to come.

In a statement via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday, Obi said the life of the FCMB founder was a reflection of hard work and enterprise for National growth and development which are very vital lessons for Nigerians.

The former Governor of Anambra State added that he joined the Balogun family for the thanksgiving service in Lagos to mark the end of the mourning period for the very revered Nigerian.

He wrote: “Today, I joined the family of Late Chief Michael Olasubomi Balogun in Lagos, for the thanksgiving service marking the end of the mourning period for the very revered Nigerian. He will be greatly missed by all.

”He was a man whose legacies will always be remembered and his obvious footprints in the nation will remain visible for generations to come. His life was a reflection of hard work and enterprise for National growth and development which are very vital lessons for Nigerians.

”May God continue to comfort the family he left behind and may he continue to rest in peace.”
