2Face Idibia Reveals When He Will Stop Mourning Sound Sultan

Legendary singer, Innocent Idibia better known as 2Face Idibia on Tuesday paid tribute to his late friend and colleague Sound Sultan.

It would be recalled that the singer died in July, 2021 after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma. He was aged 44.

This is the second anniversary of his death.

Taking to his Instagram, 2Face shared old photos of himself and the deceased, vowing to mourn his death till he joins the late singer.

“Mourn U till Eye join u,” he wrote.

Sound Sultan died after battling cancer of the throat.

Before his death, he underwent chemotherapy in the United States.

Last year, 2baba marked the first anniversary, stressing how badly he missed Sound Sultan.

“#GRATEFUL#Warrior. A GUY was light years ahead. Miss u till I join u,” he wrote.

Reason I Mimicked Davido When I Started My Career

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian skit-maker and singer, Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji also known as Nasboi has opened up on the reason he started his career by mimicking Davido.

The singer explained that he began to mimic the DMW boss to gain attention.

The comedian revealed this during an interview segment of MTV Base Naija 10 recently.

Nasboi, who launched onto the Nigerian entertainment scene as “Low Budget OBO” said his goal was to get Davido’s attention and showcase his musical talent to him.
