Omokri Clarifies Statement On Tinubu Attending Chicago State University

Former presidential media aide, Reno Omokri has stated that  the Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is wasting his time at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, (PEPT).

Omokri insisted that Obi does not stand a chance in winning the court case.

The socio-political activist argued that Obi would get less votes than he did during the presidential election, should the tribunal order a rerun.

He went on to condemn the statement by the Obi’s vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed.

Naija News recalls that in a recent interview on national television, Baba-Ahmed asked the Chief Justice of Nigeria not to swear in the President-elect on May 29.

Speaking on the development, Omokri tweeted, “Seriously, Peter Obi is wasting his time at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. As things stand, even if the Tribunal orders a rerun, he will get less votes than he did on February 25, 2023. Not only has he destroyed himself, he has set back his region!

“I read @PeterObi’s statement denying alleged treason. I believe the #NigerianElections2023 was rigged. However, I agree that Datti Baba-Ahmed’s comments were near treasonable. If Obi does not condemn his running mate’s comments, then he is guilty by association!”
