Dino Melaye Joins Kogi Governorship Race

Former Senator, Dino Melaye has declared his intention to contest the Kogi State governorship election billed for November 11, 2023.

The former lawmaker took to his Twitter account on Sunday and called on his supporters to support his gubernatorial ambition.

Boasting that Kogi will rise again if he is voted into power, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain wrote: “Let’s do it together. We shall recover Kogi State.”

PDP Screens Melaye

Earlier, Naija News reported that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has begun screening aspirants for the Imo, and Kogi governorship elections.

The screening for the governorship aspirants was conducted at various venues on Saturday, ahead of the November 11 elections.

The PDP Governorship Screening Committee for Kogi State screened and cleared the former lawmaker representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, for the poll.
