Protest Erupts In UK Over Nigeria’s 2023 Presidential Polls (Video)

Hundreds of Nigerians have taken to the streets of London, the United Kingdom to protest against the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections.

The video shared on Friday, showed protesters holding Nigerian flags storming the Nigerian House in London to register their displeasure over the elections in which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner.

They flooded the streets of London, chanting ‘We no go gree, we no go gree‘, ‘Give us Obi; We want Obi.’

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, (LP) according to INEC, came third after securing 6,101,533 votes, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 6,984,520, taking second place in the election.

Nigerians Have Been Robbed – Peter Obi Breaks Silence On Presidential Election

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the just-concluded election, Peter Obi, has said Nigerians were robbed during the election.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the former Anambra governor vowed to fight to reclaim his mandate.

He said: “Be rest assured that I and my running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed will not rest.”

The presidential candidate said he and his running mate remaining undaunted and committed to the project of a new Nigeria.

Peter Obi said he would challenge the election that produced Bola Tinubu as president-elect.

“If you must answer his excellency, the process by which you arrived at the office must be excellent,” he said.

He promised Nigerians that he will do everything to prove to Nigerians that “we won the election.”
