#NigeriaDecides2023: Adamawa Senators Abbo And Yaroe Win Seats

Senator Ishaku Abbo and senator Binos Yaroe, who represent Adamawa’s northern and southern senatorial districts in the national assembly respectively, have both been voted to serve in the Senate for a second term.

The results of the Saturday elections in Adamawa State for the National Assembly was declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the early hours of today.

According to INEC’s announcement, Engineer Ismaila Numan of the All Progressives Congress, APC, received 94, 828 votes, losing to Reverend Binos Yaroe of the People’s Democratic Party, who received 146, 407 votes.

The results show that the ADC received 2,414 votes, while the LP, NNPP, PRP, and SDP received 9,444 votes, 2,592 votes, 989 votes, and 1,667 votes, respectively.

Senator Abbo defeated his closest rival and PDP candidate, Reverend Yohanna Amos, in a close race.

Senator Ishaku Abbo received 71,927 votes while Senator Amos got 61,895 votes.
